Plans to replace water line on Pritchard Avenue from West Rosemary Street to Noble Street

UPCOMING WORK TO REPLACE WATER PIPES ALONG PRITCHARD AVENUE AND NOBLE STREET

INVITATION TO A COMMUNITY MEETING AT CHAPEL HILL TOWN HALL, FIRST FLOOR MEETING ROOM, 405 MLK JR BLVD, CHAPEL HILL, NC 27514 ON MAY 7th AT 5:30 PM

Beginning in late summer or early fall 2018, a contractor working for OWASA will complete work on the public water system along Pritchard Avenue and Noble Street. Depending on weather and other factors, the overall work is estimated to take 3 months to complete. Work shall consist of the following:

  • New water pipes will be installed along Pritchard Avenue and Noble Street
  • New water meters will be installed and reconnected to home water services
  • Parking will be temporarily disrupted during construction but parking will be provided for residents who are displaced from their normal parking spaces
  • Pritchard Avenue and Noble Street will have periodic lane closures
