This holiday season, Mayor Anderson and Mayor Foushee are daring the communities of Chapel Hill and Carrboro to collectively donate $5,000 to OWASA’s Care to Share program. This donation will help an additional 20 families in need pay their water bills. Donate below to help your neighbors.
Mayors Anderson and Foushee want to know: Are you up for the challenge?
Your gift to Care to Share, our community’s water bill assistance program, helps to make sure that no one in our community will have to go without water – or scrimp on medications or food to pay their water bill.
Please give generously to Care to Share today, if you are able.
Add a fixed amount to your monthly bill or round up your bill to the nearest dollar.
Charitable donations are typically tax deductible. We recommend consulting your tax advisor or attorney regarding your Care to Share donations.
Unfortunately, State law forbids OWASA from reducing rates or directly providing bill assistance to low-income customers. All our customers must be charged for our costs to serve them.
