09 Oct Barbara Foushee appointed to OWASA Board
Barbara Middleton-Foushee began serving on the OWASA Board on September 28, 2015 as an appointee of Orange County.
A resident of the Chapel Hill-Carrboro area since 1991, Mrs. Foushee is a Senior Technologist with the Laboratory Corporation of America.
She serves as the Secretary of the Chapel Hill-Carrboro NAACP, a member of the Town of Carrboro’s Human Services Advisory Committee, and as a Mentor in the Blue Ribbon Mentor Advocate program. She is also a member of the Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.; Tamias; and the Order of the Eastern Star, PHA-Randolph Chapter #185.
Mrs. Foushee earned a Bachelor of Science degree from St. Augustine’s University in Raleigh in 1986, with a major in medical technology.
She is married to Braxton Foushee, a former member of the Carrboro Board of Aldermen and of the OWASA Board.
Her hobbies include reading, walking and volunteering to serve the community/church.
