28 Apr Keeping the Water Running During COVID-19
OWASA is working to maintain its level of service across Carrboro and Chapel Hill while implementing practices that prioritize the health and safety of the public and OWASA employees during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Tiffanie Hawley serves as the Plant Operations Supervisor at OWASA’s Water Treatment Plant on Jones Ferry Road in Carrboro. To update the community on OWASA’s latest efforts during COVID-19, Hawley recently appeared on Wonderful Water on WCHL.
“It certainly has been an adjustment for everybody,” Hawley said. “Worldwide, in our locality, and at OWASA, but we’re doing it in stride. We’re working to make sure the community sees no difference in the level of service we provide.”
