25 Mar OWASA completes repair of damaged water line on South Elliott Road near State Employees Credit Union building, restores service (March 25)
OWASA has repaired a water line damaged Wednesday on the south side of Elliott Road near the SECU building, and water service is restored in the area.
Elliott Road is open to through traffic.
Customers may notice discoloration or air bubbles in water after completion of the repair. To clear up discoloration, customers are asked to run cold water through a faucet or spigot for about 10 minutes. If this does not clear up the water, customers should contact OWASA at 919-968-4421 (24 hour number).

OWASA repairs water line on South Elliott Road near the State Employees Credit Union (SECU) building
An OWASA crew is repairing a water line damaged Wednesday on the south side of Elliott Road near the State Employees Credit Union (SECU) building.
OWASA interrupted service to about 20 businesses at about 6 PM in order to do the repair. OWASA’s crew will continue working until service is restored.
Elliott Road is closed to through traffic near the repair area, but drivers are using a detour through a shopping center parking lot between East Franklin Street and Fordham Boulevard.
Customers may notice discoloration or air bubbles in water after completion of the repair.
